Ladies, join us for a painting party with our very own Amy Graves! Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush before or paint all the time, this event is for you. Amy will teach basic painting skills, and you’ll be able to create your own piece of art to take home! The goal is to relax, encourage one another, and worship to our creative God as we paint. Our Moldova Mission Trip team is having a bake sale Sunday, March 2, right after church! They are excited to get to share the love of Jesus this summer in partnership with our missionary families, the Gavrils and Cozimas. We greatly appreciate your support!

How can trials strengthen our faith? How can we live for Christ in the midst of life’s difficulties? The book of James is filled with wisdom and practical instruction on living the Christian life. Our study will walk us through what a mature faith looks like with teaching, admonition, and encouragement. Join us as we learn God's principles for navigating trials, temptations, the tongue, and the pull of the world. We will meet in the youth room on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 pm starting February 19th. Books are $22, and scholarships are available! Please contact Karen Boozer for more information.

We believe the love God has for us satisfies our hearts and enables us to love others freely and joyfully. Join us on February 16th for a special dinner in celebration of that amazing love! Join the Board of Elders before the Love Banquet for an update and discussion about life at CBC! This will include the annual budget report as well as information about upcoming changes to our building and communications system. There will also be a time for questions. Students, our annual Super Bowl Party is February 9th - invite your friends! If you aren’t a sports fan, we’ll have a ton of other games you can play. We’ll bring the pizza, you bring the snacks! 

Parents: we care about your kids’ hearts and minds. We commit to monitoring commercials and turning the TV off as needed. We will also not be watching the half-time show. We’ll have a fun group game planned for that part of the night instead! For pick up: you can come any time during the game (we know it’s a school night!). Our official end time is 9pm, but we’ll stay for the entire game for anyone who wants to watch to the end. We would ask that all students be picked up by 10:15 pm. Thank you!

We are so excited to be launching a new Young Adult group! This group is for anyone post-high school through around 30 and will meet every 1st and 3rd Saturday at Bob and Mary Ann Sweeney’s home (click below to get the address). We’ll have a get-to-know-you lunch on Sunday the 26th right after church - no RSVP needed! We hope this is a great place for you to build friendships with others in a similar stage of life and grow in your relationship with God together!

Ladies, join us for an annual January tradition - an entire morning set aside to commit the new year to the Lord. We will share a continental breakfast together, then spend time praying and journaling both privately and in small groups. Afterword, we’ll enjoy a soup and salad lunch. Our AWANA program for kids starts up this Wednesday at 7pm! We can’t wait to see your kids there!

Our Women’s Spring 2025 Bible study starts January 8th! We will be going through the book Echoes of Mercy: Inspirational Truths from Christ’s Last Words on the Cross (Jeff Rhoades). This 7-week study will be on Wednesdays from 10am - 12pm at the home of Margaret Watrous. Click the button below to get her address and information about how to order the book! Students, we hope you had a great Christmas and can’t wait to see everyone for youth group this Sunday at 6 pm! Invite your friends!

Every Christmas Eve, we come together to orient our hearts to Christ at this important time of remembrance and celebration. We reflect on the many promises of God throughout the Old Testament about the Savior He would send to redeem us, and how He fulfilled every one of those promises in Jesus. Even down to the smallest details, like where the Savior would be born, God fulfilled the prophesies found in the Old Testament in the first advent of Christ. Scripture readings and Christmas hymns are interwoven throughout the service, culminating in our candlelight singing of “Silent Night.” Afterward, we will enjoy a time of fellowship with hot chocolate and Christmas treats. We hope you can join us!

This year we have something special just for kids on Christmas Sunday, 12/22! Be sure to come to the lobby to get a Christmas treat bag after the service. We’re sending all kids (infant - 6th grade) home with an age-specific book or craft that reminds them how much Jesus loves them!

Men, join us for a Christmas barbeque dinner at Spring Creek! Once you get your meal, come find us in the event room to the left of the entrance. 

All students (7th - 12th grade) are invited to our annual youth Christmas Party! We’ll join our church family for Caroling in the Courtyard at 5:30, then head to the youth room for a night of holiday fun: tacky Christmas sweater contest, White Elephant gift exchange, and more. Bring your friends!!

Ladies, take a break from holiday shopping and baking and enjoy an afternoon of celebrating the Christmas season with friends! This will be a sweet time of fellowship with holiday treats, Christmas carols, and a gift exchange. Bring a wrapped gift ($20 limit) for the gift exchange and a snack to share if you’re able. The party will be held at the home of Mary Ann Sweeney, so be sure to fill out our contact form to get the address!  

Our young adult Christmas party is going to be a great night of games, Christmas treats, and a white elephant gift exchange! We’ll meet in the youth room. Bring your friends, a snack to share if you’d like (pizza’s on us!), and a White Elephant gift ($15 limit)!

The Thanksgiving Potluck is one of our favorite annual traditions as a church family! Those who are able bring a dish or two and we sit down together to enjoy a great meal and give thanks to God for His goodness. After we go back for seconds (or thirds…), we have a time of open-mic sharing, which is an opportunity for people of all ages to share how God has demonstrated His faithfulness to them over the past year. There is no pressure to share whatsoever. Whether you sit back and soak in the words of those around you, or decide to share something yourself, this event has one goal: to give God all glory, honor, and praise!
