We believe God loves kids more than they can imagine!
It is our joy to help kids come to know Jesus and grow in Him. We’re committed to providing a safe and welcoming place for kids to grow up together on the adventure of faith!
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We count it a privilege to invite kids into a meaningful relationship with Jesus! How they learn about God as kids can shape their view of Him in life-long ways. We think that means their experience at church should be fun, dynamic, and transformational! We teach kids the Bible in engaging ways and partner with parents to help kids be grounded in the good news of Jesus.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School gives kids a chance to grow in their understanding of God and His word. We have separate kids’ classes for 3 & 4-year-olds (Room #2), K–3rd grades (Room #3), and 4th–6th grades (Room #5) from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. One of our greeters will meet you at the left entrance of the building and walk you to the check-in area. Our teachers can’t wait to meet your kids! Childcare is provided for infants and toddlers in Room #1.
KIDS CHURCH
At CBC, we value all ages worshipping together as a church family. We invite kids to sit with their families for the main service at 10:45. During the greeting time after the opening worship music, kids from 4 years old to 4th grade can meet our Kids Church leaders (the ones holding the signs!) in the back of the sanctuary. The leaders will walk them to our Kids Church room for a fun class just for them, with games, songs, and Bible story! We encourage parents to check their kids in for Kids Church before the service begins at 10:45.
OUR COMMITMENT
We partner with parents in all aspects of our CBC Kids ministry. We know nothing matters more to you than your child’s spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being, and we make that a priority in our ministry, too! Whether it’s Sunday School or Kids Church, we have at least two background-checked, trained volunteers in every Kids space, and each one has a passion for sharing the love of Christ with children.
