Alien Youth Mission and Objectives:       Our mission is to know God and make Him look great to the world. We implement this through valuing God, committing ourselves to Bible Study and prayer, cultivating an atmosphere of love and acceptance, and boldly sharing Christ here and worldwide. We dream of a place where…      God is valued above ALL. He will have supreme place and priority over and above games, media, music, friendships, relationships, etc. The leadership and youth will sacrifice the unfulfilling desires of the world with a desire for God. Students will delight in God by taking small and then increasingly larger risks at school and home to see that God is valued, cherished, obeyed, and overall made to look great.      The group is marked by a warm, inclusive, non-clique environment. We desire to be a youth group that is comfortable with all personalities and maturity levels. We want to be a place of encouragement, with students and leaders taking time to give spiritual and emotional support to each other.       Students are equipped for service through the personal study of God’s Word. The community will not simply listen to lessons but will enjoy them, affirm them, and overflow in joyful obedience. As a result, students will be marvelous reflections of Jesus Christ in their homes, schools, and extracurricular functions.      The community will look to its sphere of influence and brainstorm for on how to proclaim Jesus Christ effectively. The group will implement some of their brainstorming to advance the gospel in their schools and community. Each student will memorize a method of sharing the gospel and a way of sharing their own personal testimony. They will regularly share Jesus out of the joyful abundance they experience in knowing him.      The community will look beyond themselves and even their own nation to the spiritual and physical needs of the other 95% of the people in the world. There will be regular updates on world issues that affect the progress of the gospel. They will support a Compassion International child. They will respond in earnest and joyful prayer for the expansion of the gospel in needy places of the world. The youth will constantly look beyond themselves to God’s desire to make Himself known to the world.
