As with the early Church, we at CBC seek to be examples to one another to “do the work of the ministry.” We believe that living for Jesus Christ involves correct teaching as well as being a part of one another’s lives such that we can see each other live out our faith
1 Thessalonians 1:6-8 And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit, so that you became examples to all in Macedonia and Achaia who believe. For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith toward God has gone out so that we do not need to say anything.
Phillippians 4:8,9 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
Our Small Group Ministry revolves around providing a safe environment for believers to study God’s Word, pray, and build friendships that impact lives far beyond Sunday services. This ministry is meant to pick up where Sunday morning ends. Held in the homes of our members, each Small Group convenes at conveniently scheduled times during the month. Our Bible studies are ongoing, so there is always an opportunity to be a part of one that matches your schedule. We look forward to meeting you!
